At Cooper, we believe in providing a work environment where employees feel welcome, respected and valued for who they are and their contributions. Just as a combination of many different high quality materials are key to manufacturing safe, great performing tires, a diverse group of top performing employees is a necessity for achieving organizational greatness.

In my role, I have the opportunity to work every day to advance the level of respect and inclusion within our walls and in the communities where we operate. As such, Cooper has joined Ohio Business Competes, a coalition of businesses committed to achieving state-wide nondiscrimination policies to attract the best talent to the Buckeye State. Like other coalition members, Cooper believes that discrimination has no place in the workplace.

In our hometown of Findlay, Ohio, where Cooper’s global headquarters is located, employees have actively volunteered at the community’s annual pride picnic organized by LGBTQ+ Spectrum of Findlay, a local non-profit group. Cooper has also served as an event sponsor and is part of the organization’s Ally Directory, a listing seeking to connect the LGBTQ+ community to open and affirming local businesses.
